One striking, sculptural focal point that brings together a wealth of safety features. First and foremost The SafeMaker is a fire extinguisher which, like The SafeRing, is remarkably slim, conceals all the essential elements — the trigger, the safety pin and the seal — protecting them from unauthorised handling, and can be operated single-handed. Unlike a conventional fire extinguisher, it offers exceptional protection while fighting a fire — from flames, and from falling debris too.
The SafeMaker is likewise offered in two variants with a powder extinguishing agent: the 4 kg model designated P21 and the 6 kg model designated P34. The P34 variant is ideal for use in family homes. If you are looking for the right fire extinguisher for a flat, the lighter P21 variant is the perfect answer.

P21 or P34?
Both variants share the same dimensions and differ in charge and extinguishing capacity. The P21 holds 4 kg of powder and rates 21A — the usual choice for apartments and smaller spaces. The P34 holds 6 kg and rates 34A, aimed at houses and larger areas; it is slightly heavier and discharges for longer.

Frequently asked questions
Yes. There are two ranges, The SafeRing and The SafeMaker, and the latter comes in four finishes: ST, EX, IN and LU. Then you pick the fill — P21 with 4 kg of powder (21A, 113B, C) for a flat, or P34 with 6 kg (34A, 183B, C) for a house. The extinguisher itself is the same size either way; only the weight changes.
Self-extinguishing, yes — they will not catch fire on their own, and if a flame licks them they go out. Plain fabrics have the property built in; on multicoloured prints we add a self-extinguishing impregnation, so the result is the same. The shield is mainly there to protect you from radiant heat and falling debris, and it does that for the whole time you are extinguishing.
Yes. It is a portable fire extinguisher certified to EN 3-7:2004+A1:2007, with an approved pressure vessel, a declared fire rating, a type label and a pictogram. It counts towards the number of extinguishers a building is required to have, just like any other.
Nothing complicated. Once a month, look the extinguisher over yourself — that it is where it belongs, the seal is intact and the gauge needle sits in the green. Once a year a service partner comes for an operability inspection, and every five years for a periodic test. You will find a partner on the Service page.
