I am an architect. I restored what was left of the original Liechtenstein chateau near Lanškroun, a building that burned down three times in the 18th century. In 2017 fire broke out there again and I learned that fighting it is not easy. It is demanding and dangerous.
First you face a choice: run and leave everything to the flames, or try to save what you have spent years building. I chose to save it, but like so many others I had never paid attention to fire extinguishers; they were well hidden. I found one. It worked. Even so, I inhaled smoke and the heat of the fire was a formidable opponent. In the buildings I have designed since then, I pay far closer attention to firefighting equipment. I looked for extinguishers that would not spoil the style I had designed, ones I would not have to hide. Nowhere in the world did I find anything suitable. I got in touch with specialists and discovered that my experience was not unique. Nobody had given any thought to firefighting from an ergonomic point of view either. People very often suffocate in the process, not only while fighting a fire but also while trying to escape a burning building. Working with the specialists I approached, I created a design that answered both my own experience and their findings.

After 150 years of fire extinguishers built into industrial cylinders, together we found a solution that meets every requirement overlooked until now and is beautiful at the same time. It adapts to any interior and stays in sight, always within reach. I developed, patented and certified the finest fire extinguishers in the world, offering up to 22 improvements and better protection for their owners.

I built a manufactory where we craft the most beautiful fire extinguishers in the world by hand. I created the AMPLLA brand, derived from the word ‘amplification’. We extend and amplify what fire extinguishers can do, and for the first time they are truly branded, unique, distinctive and beautiful.
