A HYDRANT HIDDEN BEHIND A SHIELD
Fire Hose Station brings together two things that usually sit apart on the wall — the fire hose cabinet and the fire extinguisher. The cabinet door is not merely a door: it is a fully fledged Amplla Shield fire extinguisher certified to EN 3-7. Behind it waits a standard fire hose reel certified to EN 671-1, carrying 30 metres of semi-rigid hose. One movement and you have both to hand — the portable extinguisher in your grip and an uninterrupted jet of water from the hydrant.
The reel is swing-mounted, so the hose unwinds in whichever direction you need, no matter which way you approach the fire from. Fire Hose Station comes in two variants according to the extinguishing capacity of the shield: P4, rated 21A, 113B, C, and P6, rated 34A, 183B, C. The reel is identical in both — a DN25 spray nozzle, a supply pressure of 2 to 12 bar, 4 bar recommended.
Built into the wall
A CABINET THAT LEAVES THE ARCHITECTURE ALONE
The WBC7128 wallbox, measuring 710 × 710 × 300 mm, is manufactured by Amplla and built directly into the wall, into a niche 26 mm deep. The structure is built from 1 mm galvanised steel with a 10 mm cement-bonded particle board at the back, and the hinge is steel and dural — the cabinet carries the fire extinguisher in its door throughout its entire service life. On the outside, all that remains is the shield: a surface you can match to the interior just like any other Amplla Shield.

Thanks to its clever construction, it is the only extinguisher in the world to protect the seal, safety pin, valve and hose against unauthorised handling.

It uses the finest powder extinguishing agent. We currently offer the P21 variant with 4 kg of powder and the P34 variant with 6 kg.

Frequently asked questions
Yes. An Amplla is a fire extinguisher certified in its own right, not a designer cover slipped over someone else's device. The certification is valid in 25 countries, and the certificates for each of them are on the Certifications page.
Yes. It is a portable fire extinguisher certified to EN 3-7:2004+A1:2007, with an approved pressure vessel, a declared fire rating, a type label and a pictogram. It counts towards the number of extinguishers a building is required to have, just like any other.
Nothing complicated. Once a month, look the extinguisher over yourself — that it is where it belongs, the seal is intact and the gauge needle sits in the green. Once a year a service partner comes for an operability inspection, and every five years for a periodic test. You will find a partner on the Service page.
